Hmmm...what would the world like to know about me? I'm just a shy country girl, really, even though my friends and family would say, "Yeah, right!" Okay...well, maybe not so shy. I love to write. I've always loved to write. And I adore this digital age in which we live that makes a writing career possible for small-timers like me. What do I love to write about? Tricky question, there, as my topic of choice seems to be entirely different from one day to the next. But that's the beauty of a gig like this...I get to write about whatever I want. Sweet!
I am Mommy to two amazing little gals aged 6 and 3, and I possess a pretty extensive professional background in the restaurant biz., so obviously I do quite a bit of writing in those categories. I entertain my captive mini-audience with "homemade" children's stories, and if you'd like to score a good deal on a great bottle of wine, you are more than welcome to swing by my wine blog at WoodsyWino.wordpress.com. My interests and experience span much further than this, however.
In the coming weeks and months I also hope to bring my readers useful information in other categories I find fascinating and which I enjoy exploring, myself. If I am curious about it, I am going to research it and write about it, and it's exciting to me to be able to so readily share my new information with you!
In that sense, I view my career with Suite101 as a sort of adventure shared between myself and my readers. Thanks for coming along for the ride! I am sure we will find much to explore and enjoy!
